What this document does

This is an official government reference page, not a law. Its source is the live fee schedule published by the Dirección Nacional de Migraciones at migraciones.gov.py/aranceles-migratorios, applied under Decreto N° 6225/2026 and Resolución DNM N° 478/2026 with effect from 1 July 2026.

Every fee is set in jornales, the legal minimum daily wage, so the guaraní amounts move whenever the minimum wage is adjusted. The 1 July 2026 schedule uses a minimum wage of Gs. 3,044,000 and a jornal of Gs. 117,077.

Fees change. Circle Group transcribes the schedule in force on the last verification date and links straight to the official page so you can confirm the amount before paying.

The Gs. 702,462 amount applies to the two immigration infractions listed on the official page, namely expiry of the authorised transitory stay and the absence of a registered entry to the country. It is not presented here as a penalty for late permanent-residency conversion.

Why this matters

  • Government fees are separate from professional fees. Publishing them from the official schedule avoids the outdated figures that circulate in residency discussions.
  • Because the amounts follow the minimum wage, a figure quoted in an older article or forum post is very likely wrong.
  • Card payments carry a provider surcharge, so the cash, debit and credit columns differ for the same procedure.
